During the last week of September, our CanSkate Coordinator Carissa Wong held meetings with parents/guardians to review safety and equipment, skater evaluation and to answer your questions.

Carnival Commitment Form for StarSkate 1, 2, Junior, Intermediate, Senior Skaters
We are excited to be piloting a “Buy & Sell Binder” (which can be found at our Registration desk). This is to facilitate RPFSC members selling to RPFSC members – any skating clothing and skating equipment including figure skates and skate bags.
It will be up to you to complete a “Buy & Sell Form” to list your item and leave your contact information so that other members who browse through the binder may reach you to buy or to sell. “Buy & Sell Forms” can be picked up from our Registration Desk.
If you wish to sell skates, you will be required to have our Head Coach Marnie to check the skates to ensure that the blade is in good condition and has room for future sharpening.
For now, forms, instructions and conditions to list items for “Buy & Sell” can be found in the binder and in the near future, available on our website.
The Nat Bailey Winter Market begins Saturday, November 7th and runs until April 23rd, 2016 from 10am to 2pm in the parking lot and plaza of Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Centre. Parking will be VERY limited on these days. Please ensure you allow additional time to find parking so that you will not be late for lessons – especially for CanSkate lessons at noon!
Hopefully, you’ll recall that we asked you to save March 19, 2016 for our bi-annual Carnival and here are the details as promised.The Carnival Commitment Form outlines the skater requirements to participate in this coming Carnival (including practice dates and times, performance times and participation fee).
We will require that everyone complete the bottom portion of this form and return to the Registration Desk by November 1.

Join us at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to learn more about your Skating Club, hear about the Club’s achievements in the past year, elect Board officers for the coming season and to vote on a new set of Club by-laws.
You are able to nominate a club member for election or re-election for the above positions. Email your nominations to [email protected] prior to the AGM. Nominations from the floor during the meeting will also be accepted.
CanSkate Information Meetings will be held this coming week for parents/guardians of our CanSkaters. Our CanSkate Coordinator, Carissa Wong will be reviewing safety and equipment, skater evaluation and answer your questions.
The meeting will take place in the lobby of the skating rink as scheduled:
Tuesday, September 29 – 4:00 pm
Thursday, October 1 – 5:00 pm
Saturday, October 3 – 12:15 pm.
